Firearm : Taurus .22 Magnum revolver with 2.0" barrel length
Block calibration : 7.9cm @ 566 ft/sec and 37.7 degrees Fahrenheit
Single shot fired into a bare gelatin block from a distance of 10 feet. Shot impacted at 1075 ft/sec and penetrated to a total depth of 14.6". Bullet penetrated point first to a depth of 2.7" when it turned on its side. Bullet righted itself and traveled base forward at a depth of 5.9" and continued on in this orientation until the end of the penetration event. Bullet was recovered at 38.5gr, 0.441" length and 0.224" average diameter.
