Cartridge : Handloaded .32ACP, 60gr Hornady XTP JHP Firearm : Kel-Tec P32 with 2.75" barrel length. Calibration : 8.4 ± 0.05cm and 578 ± 0.500 ft/sec impact velocity. All loads were handloads in 0.1gr increments of N310 pistol powder, with Magtech cases and Federal small pistol primers. All loads were not found in any tabulated load data - please proceed with caution if attempting these loads in your gun. Shot one was 2.3 grains of N310, penetrated to 10.3 ± 0.031" and expanded to 0.366 ± 0.0005" diameter. Velocity was 1142 ± 0.500 ft/sec Shot two was 2.4 grains of N310, penetrated to 10.3 ± 0.031" and expanded to 0.386 ± 0.0005" diameter. Velocity was 1157 ± 0.500 ft/sec Shot three was 2.5 grains of N310, penetrated to 10.3 ± 0.031" and expanded to 0.372 ± 0.0005" diameter. Velocity was 1180 ± 0.500 ft/sec Shot four was 2.6 grains of N310, penetrated to 10.3 ± 0.031" and expanded to 0.375 ± 0.0005" diameter. Velocity was 1210 ± 0.500 ft/sec Shot five was 2.5 grains of N310, penetrated to 10.3 ± 0.031" and expanded to 0.359 ± 0.0005" diameter. Velocity was 1173 ± 0.500 ft/sec Testing was halted at 2.6 grains - as the case was on the brink of rupturing and the primer had flattened out.
