.25 ACP

         The .25ACP is likely the least effective centerfire handgun cartridge ever produced. However, any gun is better than no gun in a defensive situation where deadly force is justified. In addition, firearms chambered for this cartridge are among the smallest with regard to physical dimensions, so there is less of an excuse not to carry the gun due to its physical size.

         We recommend practicing with your .25ACP until you are intimately comfortable with the function of the weapon and as accurate as possible.  Many people in war are hit by several high velocity fragments (approximately the same size as a .25ACP bullet) and survive.  You can expect the body of your attackers to fare just as well or better - be ready to fight.
