.357 SIG

       The .357SIG was a joint venture between Federal Cartridge Company and Sig-Sauer, to produce .357 Magnum ballistics in a cartridge that fits easily within the handle of a semi-automatic handgun.

           This cartridge, when fired from a 4" or longer barrel, will generally provide terminal performance comparable to the .357 Magnum out of a 4" revolver barrel. It is not uncommon to see this cartridge propel a 125gr bullet in excess of 1300 ft/sec.
