Developed by Guncrafter Industries, the .50GI cartridge is adaptable to most firearms that are chambered in .45ACP. This cartridge can produce a hole in the target that is 24% larger than a .45ACP bullet, all else being equal. This increase in lethality is, of course, accompanied by a approximate 10% decrease in magazine capacity. But given the fact that most defensive gunfights only last fractions of a second, there shouldn't be time enough for all of the cartridges in the gun to be expended.
